Joan Jett Added To Green Day Stadium Support
Former Runaway to support punk rockers at Wembley and in Manchester
Joan Jett & The Blackhearts will support Green Day at their forthcoming UK stadium shows.
Jett will appear on the support bill for the Wembley Stadium show on 19 June and at Manchester’s Lancashire County Cricket Ground on 16 June.
The shows will be Jett’s first live dates in the UK for a few years and coincide with a boost in the guitarist’s profile caused by the new biopic, The Runaways – a film about the influential female punk rockers.
Jett also has a new book out and new Greatest Hits collection which was released last month.
