Jimmy To Make Radical Statement On Solo Album
Zep guitarist to release new album this year
Jimmy Page has promised to make a "radical” statement with his forthcoming solo album.
Contact Music reports that Page, who had not really spoken about the musical projects he was working on this year, revealed that fans can expect something a little different from the new album – which is thought to be his first solo project since 1988.
He said: "I think it's very important to do some musical statements with new material and that's exactly what I plan to do over the forthcoming year. Musically it will be a different picture in quite a radical frame, I hope. I'd like to try some ambitious projects. But we'll see."
Page had already revealed that he plans to play some live shows in 2010 so when we hear any more news of either the album or the live dates then we’ll let you know.
