Jimmy Page To Work With The Flaming Lips?

Psychedelic rockers want Zep legend for their new album

In an interview with Spinner frontman Wayne Coyne revealed that he hopes to bag the Zep guitarist for the album, even if he has to wait.

"I was talking about Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin to do one of these tracks with us, and, you know, if he's not available next month then we'll keep trying, maybe the next month or maybe six months. Because I have this lax timetable I'm working with, I feel like anybody that's interested in doing something, we should be able to do it with them."

So don't go expecting the album to land anytime soon, but when it does arrive it will be released in a typically eccentric way.

According to the interview the album will be released on a USB stick that will be embedded inside a fake skull that is filled with "gummy bear".

"I would think gummy bear isn't all that dangerous unless you're eating, you know, five pounds of it," says Coyne.

"With this, you have to eat your way inside the skull, through the brain, to retrieve the UBS flash drive that has the music on it. But that is a lot of gummy bear sitting in your gut overnight, so what you have to do is get some friends to help you."
