Jimmy Page Re-releases 'Death Wish II'
Limited edition vinyl available only from his official website
It's thirty years today years since Jimmy Page released the soundtrack to 'Death Wish II' and to celebrate, he’s reissuing the album on vinyl.
Only 1000 copies will be made available through the shop at Page’s official website.
The guitar legend has written new liner notes for the anniversary edition and the album will also feature a previously unreleased instrumental version of the 'Death Wish' main theme.
Commenting on the release, he says "In 1981, Michael Winner asked me if I would compose the soundtrack to 'Death Wish II'. The songs with vocals were only going to appear in the film for a matter of seconds but I had recorded full versions of them anyway - which is how I ended up doing my first soundtrack and soundtrack album. I’ve re-released this because I wanted it to be available again."
More details on how to purchase the album are expected soon.
