Led Zeppelin legend Jimmy Page also personally attended the ceremony to pick up his Kerrang! Icon Award, while Phil Campbell received Motörhead's Kerrang! Inspiration Award.

Other winners on the night included Ghost (Best Album for ‘Prequelle’) and Skunk Anansie who were entered into The Kerrang! Hall Of Fame.
