Jimmy Page Joins Roy Harper Onstage In London
The Zep man plays with one of his main influences
Dave Lewis over at Zep magazine Tight But Loose reports that Page joined Harper at his Royal Festival Hall show on Saturday night to perform the song 'The Same Old Rock' - on which he originally performed under the pseudonym S. Flavious Mercurious on Roy's 1971 Stormcock album.
The show was part of Harper's 70th birthday celebrations and Jimmy's appearance had been rumoured, but not confirmed until he walked onstage with his customised Martin D28 guitar.
