Jimmy Page Irked By Olympic Snub
He's not been invited to perform at the opening ceremony
Despite being asked to go to Beijing four years ago to take part in the handing over ceremony at the Olympics, Jimmy has apparently not been invited to do anything at all at the London event.
"Of course, I’m feeling rather hurt,” he tells Mandrake at the Diamond Jubilee Celebration of the Arts at the Royal Academy. "We put so much into Beijing, but weren’t helped by the Chinese giving us next-to-no practice time.”
