Jack White Won't Form Another Band
Former White Stripe hints at solo career
In an interview with Q Magazine Jack White has said that he will never form another band, and will spend the rest of his career either playing with his bands the Raconteurs or the Dead Weather, or working as a solo artist. "If I can't say it in any of these bands, then I'll say it by myself," he said.
White has released one solo single, a track recorded during the making of the film It Might Get Loud, but has otherwise focused on The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather.
The White Stripes, however, split three weeks ago and with various members of the Dead Weather working with their other bands (frontwoman Alison Mosshart is back with The Kills and Dean Fertita is back with Queens Of The Stone Age) it seems that we will either see a Raconteurs reunion sooner rather than later or White will go it alone.
