The original concert took place at The Roundhouse in Camden on 24th October 2015 - the eve of the first anniversary of the Cream legend’s untimely passing – and featured an array of Jack’s friends, band mates and musical kindred spirits.

Among those who performed on the special night were Ginger Baker, Ian Anderson, Phil Manzanera, Bernie Marsden, Uli Jon Roth, Hugh Cornwell, Clem Clempson, Vernon Reid, Jack’s own Big Blues Band and his son Corin Jack Bruce and daughter Aruba Red.

The tribute concert, musically directed by Nitin Sawhney, was recorded for posterity and is presented in HD with surround sound audio.

It will get its inaugural and only planned screening at the Curzon Mayfair at 6.15pm on Monday 14th May 2018 – what would have been Jack’s 75th birthday.

Following the exclusive screening there will be a Q&A session featuring Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson, Roxy Music’s Phil Manzanera, Level 42’s Mark King, music director Nitin Sawhney and members of Jack’s family.

Ian Anderson says: “From Jack's earliest days with the Graham Bond Organisation, the Cream era and on through the various collaborations and solo work, he has continued to serve as a prime inspiration for me and thousands of other musicians, especially those whose performances graced this Roundhouse evening.

“I first saw him play at the Nottingham Boat Club in 1966 and had the pleasure to work alongside him on collaborations several times in the final years.”

Phil Manzanera adds: “Jack was a musical hero of mine, a true force of nature on and off stage, and became a great friend. I was delighted to be part of this powerful and moving tribute concert.

“I'd like to think that he was looking down on us all, with a wry smile, and thinking ‘Wow what talented kids Margrit and I have’, for me, their performances were the concert highlights!”

All profits from the cinema screening will go to EACH - East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices. EACH were also the beneficiaries of the original tribute concert, which raised them over £35,000.
