It's Not Just Cricket For Sir Mick
Rolling Stones frontman makes appearance at new cricket documentary premiere
Sir Mick pitched up at the premiere of the acclaimed new cricket documentary, 'Fire in Babylon' in London's Leicester Square.
The film, produced by the same team responsible for 'The Last King of Scotland' charts the magnificent rise of the West Indies cricket team during the late 70's and early 80's. Featuring contributions from Windies legend Viv Richards and musician Bunny Wailer among others, the documentary takes a closer look at the relentless struggle for acceptance faced by the squad during that period.
West Indian cricket luminaries Michael Holding, Joel Garner and Gordon Greenidge were also in attendance.
The film, already garnering great reviews, is out now in selected cinemas and will be released on DVD on 6 June.
