It Bites Schedule Christmas Show With Frost*
The prog duo will play a co-headline show in London
The two bands will play at the Scala on 16 DecemberÂ
"This is a venue that I love,” John Mitchell, who will be playing with both bands on the night, told Prog Magazine. "I’ve seen loads of great gigs there, and always thought it would be a special place to play.”
"Mitchell and I were talking for ages about the idea of It Bites and Frost doing a show at The Scala,” says Jem Godfrey of Frost. "But it seemed to go nowhere, until Twang from The House Of Progression offered to make it happen.”
"It Bites will be doing a greatest hits set,” reveals Mitchell, "and we want to make sure that the stage show is something amazing. Moreover, we are thinking of dressing up the entire venue, to make it feel like a one-off night.”
"The Frost* set will be the last we do based on the old material,” adds Godfrey. "We are currently working on our new album, so the next time we play, doubtless things will have changed a lot musically. But at The Scala we’ll also throw in a left-field cover or two. People seem to love us doing that.”
