Planet Rock’s very own Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry will kick off their short run of shows at Leeds First Direct Arena on Wednesday 2nd September 2020 before they call in at Glasgow The SSE Hydro, London The O2 and Birmingham Arena. They will be joined by Primal Scream at all dates.

The trek follows a previously announced tour of mainland Europe that takes in dates in Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg and Italy in the late summer.

Tickets for the UK shows go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 10am on Friday 29th November.

Our Alice says of the upcoming tour: “This show has something for everyone.I like to joke that The Vampires are the world’s most expensive bar band, but what a lot of people don’t realise is that this is a real rock band, not just some novelty. I wouldn’t keep doing it if it weren’t such a great band. Everybody gets along, the musical chemistry is as good as it gets and the show will be the highest energy hard rock shows you will see all year. I never get tired of playing with these guys!"

Aerosmith's Joe Perry adds: “I’m looking forward to be getting back on the road with the guys in the Vampires this summer. It’s going to be great to get to play a bunch of tunes from our new album as well as a few from our dead, drunk friends. The last tour we were firing on all cylinders and it’s because of the great support from our fans that we really push the pedal to the floor. You can expect much of the same in September. We can’t wait to get over and prove it.”

Hollywood Vampires played their first UK shows together in June 2018 on a four-date headline arena tour.

Hollywood Vampires take their name from the celebrity drinking club formed by Alice Cooper in 1970 at Rainbow Bar & Grill on Sunset Boulevard. “To join the club, one simply had to out drink all of the members,” says Alice.

“I would walk in on a typical night and John Lennon, Harry Nilsson, Keith Moon—who would usually be in a costume like a maid or a chauffeur—Bernie Taupin, Jim Morrison and Mickey Dolenz would be there. The next week might be Bernie Taupin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Mickey Dolenz.”

Hollywood Vampires released their self-titled, Bob Ezrin-produced debut album on 11th September 2015 featuring guest spots from Brian Johnson, Perry Farrell, Sir Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Joe Walsh, Slash, Orianthi and the late-great Sir Christopher Lee.

Produced by Tommy Henriksen and Hollywood Vampires themselves, the band’s second studio album ‘Rise’ was released in June 2019.

Unlike their eponymous debut, the 16-track album features predominately original material except covers of David Bowie’s ‘Heroes’, Jim Carroll Band’s ‘People Who Died’, and Johnny Thunder’s ‘You Can’t Put Your Arms Around A Memory’.
