Cambridgeshire rockers Hollowstar have premiered the video for their latest single ‘Good Man Gone’, which is released today.

The rousing and lyrically emotive anthem is lifted from Hollowstar’s self-titled debut album, ‘Hollowstar’, that was unleased to the world in May.

Commenting on the song’s themes, the band’s reps say it ‘pays homage to a childhood friend; one who unfortunately lost the arduous battle with depression that pervades the lives and minds of all too many individuals.’

The statement continues: ‘Channelling this loss into inspiration, the end result is a powerful tribute that serves both as an epic tale of inner turmoil and a rallying call to listeners, urging them to offer a shoulder to those who need it, rather than a solemn goodbye.’

Directed by Tom Norris of Icarus Films, the ‘Good Man Gone’ video was filmed during Hollowstar’s headline tour this summer and melds footage of the band performing live with backstage clips.
