High Voltage Reveals Cinema Tent Details
PLUS Rick Wakeman & Randy Bachman sign up for Q&A sessions
High Voltage organisers have revealed more details about what you can expect from the cinema tent over the course of the two day festival in a couple of weeks time.
Sponsored by Eagle Vision and the Cambridge Film Trust, the tent will see screenings of clips from over 20 films so you can take a load off between bands and just chill out for a while.
Some of the films on show will be:

- Montreux Rocks – featuring Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, Status Quo and Yes.
- Iron Maiden: Flight 666
- Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey
- Anvil – The Movie
- Some Kind Of Monster
- Tenacious D – The Pick Of Destiny
- Wayne’s World
- Still Crazy
- Bad News
- This Is Spinal Tap
- It Might Get Loud
There will also be live footage from DVDs with Styx, Chickentfoot, Toto, ZZ Top, Gary Moore, Jeff Beck, Carlos Santana, Asia, Jethro Tull, Rick Wakeman, ELP, Rush, Pink Floyd, Dio, Queen, Nirvana, Slipknot.
There will also be a couple of Q&As, with Randy Bachman taking your questions on Saturday 24 July at 5.30pm and our very own Rick Wakeman taking centre stage at 5.30pm on Sunday 25 July. Both Q&As will be hosted by another of our DJs, David Jensen.

In memory of Ronnie James Dio, there will be a photo gallery in the cinema by Mick Hutson and a condolence book that fans can sign. This will then be presented to High Voltage’s official festival charity, the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund. Donations can also be made on site or at www.ronniejamesdio.com
