The video for Jimi Hendrix’s ‘Valleys Of Neptune’ has premiered online.
The video, which you can see below, is inspired by the artwork for the album, which is a Jimi Hendrix painting merged with a photograph taken by Linda Eastman.
According to Experience Hendrix CEO Janie Hendrix, her brother originally wanted to be an artist. "He went through a phase doing watercolors at school and this was one of the 110 drawings of his that our father kept," she tells Spinner. "When I saw this one from 1957, it screamed 'Valleys of Neptune' so we just knew we'd use it for this project."
