Hellfest 2023 announces 179 bands including Iron Maiden, KISS, Tenacious D & Pantera

The blockbuster 179-band line-up for France rock and metal institution Hellfest has been revealed.
Headlining Main Stage 01 are KISS, Mötley Crüe, Iron Maiden and Slipknot, with Pantera, Hollywood Vampires, Def Leppard, Alter Bridge, Porcupine Tree, Generation Sex, Skid Row and British Lion among the other bands performing on the main stage over the four days.
Tenacious D, Within Temptation, Sum 41 and Parkway Drive headline Main Stage 02 with Halestorm, The Distillers and Powerful among the plethora of bands confirmed.
Other acts set to perform across Hellfest’s other four stages include The Hu, Clutch, The Cult, Black Flag, Mevins, Monster Magnet, Rancid and Fishbone.
Hellfest takes place in Clisson, France from Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th June 2023. Tickets are already sold out.
Attended by more than 60,000 people, this year’s Hellfest was hit by an intense European heatwave over the opening weekend with temperatures hitting 38°C.
The 2022 event took place over two consecutive weekends with Deftones, Ghost and Gojira headlining the opening weekend, and Scorpions, Nine Inch Nails, Guns N’ Roses and Metallica topping the bill the following week.
A colossal 15-metre statue of Motörhead legend Lemmy was unveiled at Hellfest 2022, which was created by French artist and sculptor Caroline Brisset.
