The French festival reveals its almost complete line-up
Last updated 28th Nov 2023
Hellfest Open Air Festival has announced 178 bands for the 2024 event, including all four headliners.
Late last month, the French rock and metal extravaganza revealed its first wave of artists on the bill with Foo Fighters topping the bill, and Queens of the Stone Age, The Offspring, Royal Blood, Bruce Dickinson and Megadeth also on the bill.
This morning (28th November), Hellfest unveiled its (almost) full line-up and Metallica, Machine Head and Avenged Sevenfold will headline the main stage alongside the Foos.
Other artists on the four-day bill include Heart, The Prodigy, Saxon (Castle & Eagles show), Black Stone Cherry, Extreme, Tom Morello, Fear Factory, Mammoth WVH, The Dead Daisies, Steel Panther, Yngwie Malmsteen, Rival Sons, Therapy? and Mr Bungle among the plethora of names.
For those with a penchant for the darker side of metal, the likes of Cradle of Filth, Emperor, Dimmu Bogir, Satyricon, Sodom, Dismember, and I Am Morbid are on the bill.
Four more bands are yet to be confirmed including the Very Special Guest on the Thursday night.
Hellfest said: “After giving you the first names exclusively a few weeks ago, here we are able to announce the rest of the line-up of this 17th edition of Hellfest!
“178 bands (+ 4 bands to be announced by the festival), 6 stages and without doubt one of the most open and varied posters in terms of extreme music!”
Hellfest takes place in Clisson, France from Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th June 2024.
