Heart to release 'Live at The Royal Albert Hall with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra'
Heart’s special show at London’s Royal Albert Hall this summer is being released as a live album.
The show on 29th June was Nancy and Ann Wilson’s first ever performance at the world-famous London venue and they were backed by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
‘Heart: Live at The Royal Albert Hall with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’ is released on CD, DVD and Blu-Ray on 25th November and features all 16 songs performed on the night including ‘These Dreams’, ‘Alone’, ‘Barracuda’, ‘Magic Man’ and ‘Dreamboat Annie’.
Also on the album are Heart’s covers of Led Zeppelin’s ‘No Quarter’ and Toronto’s ‘What About Love’ plus ‘Heaven’ and ‘I Jump’ from their latest album ‘Beautiful Broken’.
Alongside Ann and Nancy, the live line-up on the night featured Ben Smith (drums), Dan Rothchild (bass), Craig Bartock (guitar) and Chris Joyner (keyboards). The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra was conducted by Nick Davies.
Together with the full concert performance, the release also comes with an interview with the Wilson sisters.
