Hawkwind announce 50th anniversary Royal Albert Hall show
Space rock pioneers Hawkwind will play a 50th anniversary concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
The very special show will take place on Tuesday 26th November 2019 and tickets are available to buy from Planet Rock Tickets at 9am on Friday (21st December). It’s Hawkwind’s first ever gig at the Royal Albert Hall.
Announcing the concert, Dave Brock and co. said: “2019 is going to be an exciting year for Hawkwind. As part of our 50 year anniversary celebrations, we are happy to announce this rather special show at The Royal Albert Hall in London.”
The Royal Albert Hall tour announcement comes on the back of Hawkwind’s rapturously received ‘In Search of Utopia – Infinity and Beyond’ tour alongside a full orchestra, which took in dates in Leeds, Salford, Gateshead, Bath and Birmingham and two sold-out nights at London Palladium.
Hawkwind’s 31st studio album ‘Road to Utopia’ was released in September via Cherry Red Records.
