Sammy Hagar ‘guarantees’ original music from ‘Best Of All Worlds’ supergroup
Touring band features Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham and Joe Satriani
Sammy Hagar has promised that there will be original music from the incredible live outfit assembled for his current ‘Best Of All Worlds’ tour.
The touring band features former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony and drummer Jason Bonham – both of whom also play with Hagar in rock supergroup Sammy Hagar & The Circle.
Joe Satriani joins the trio on guitar, with Australian multi-instrumentalist Rai Thistlethwayte rounding off the touring ensemble.

In an interview with 'The Bogus Otis Show: 9 Degrees Of Sammy Hagar' podcast, Hagar was asked whether the outfit would write and record together.
He replied: “Yes. I guarantee it. I mean, it's, like, I don't know when and why, because records don't sell. I've made a couple of my best records of my life, my last two solo records, and I'm lucky to sell 50 or 60,000 records.
“You go and make a record nowadays just to lose a couple hundred thousand bucks. It's all good. But I need a tax write-off, so it really helps. 'I made too many this year. Let's go make a record.'"
The ‘Best Of All Worlds’ tour leans heavily on Hagar’s time in Van Halen but has also featured numbers from the David Lee Roth era, solo songs and the odd Montrose and Joe Satriani track.
