Guns N’ Roses have uploaded a video to YouTube featuring 30 minutes of footage from their headline set at Download Festival 2018.

Taking to the Main Stage at Donington Park in the early evening sunshine on Saturday 9th June 2018, Guns N’ Roses played an epic three-hour, 28-song set at Download Festival that culminated with a huge fireworks finale.

The newly upload 30-minute video features five songs Guns N’ Roses performed on the night – covers of Velvet Revolver’s ‘Slither’ and the Misfits’ ‘Attitude’, together with their own classic tracks ‘Rocket Queen’, ‘You Could Be Mine’ and ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’.

Guns N’ Roses appeared on a weekend bill at Download Festival 2018 that also boasted Avenged Sevenfold (Friday headliner), Ozzy Osbourne (Sunday headliner), Black Stone Cherry, Volbeat, Thunder, Shinedown and many more.

Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan and co. were due to play Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Glasgow Green and Dublin’s Marlay Park this summer, however their entire European trek was cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Since it opened at The Troubadour in Hollywood over four years ago in April 2016, Guns N’ Roses’ Not In This Lifetime… Tour has already grossed $584.2 million and is the third-highest grossing concert tour of all time behind U2's 360° Tour and Ed Sheeran's ÷ Tour.

As part of the blockbuster tour, Guns N’ Roses played a night at Slane Castle in May 2017 and two shows at London Stadium in June 2017.

Download Festival was also cancelled this summer, however a virtual event was held on YouTube called Download TV, which featured archive performances from Iron Maiden, KISS, System of a Down, Alter Bridge, Bush, Deftones, The Darkness, Wayward Sons, Steel Panther, Volbeat and many more.
