Guns N’ Roses announced as third headliner of Download Festival 2018

Guns N’ Roses have been unveiled as the blockbuster third and final headliners of next year’s Download Festival.

Having wowed at their spectacular London Stadium shows on the Not In This Lifetime Tour last summer, Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan, Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer and Melissa Reese will top the bill at Donington Park on Saturday 9th June 2018.

They join the previously announced Friday night headliners Avenged Sevenfold and Sunday night’s bill-topper Ozzy Osbourne.

Download Festival promoter Andy Copping: “It’s great to have this iconic line up of Guns N’ Roses headlining at Download.

“I am sure I am not alone when I say I have been wanting this to happen for years. It will be an incredible show and will be one of the highlights of the Download weekend!”

The eagerly anticipated headline slot will be Guns N’ Roses’ first UK Festival appearance since classic Guns N’ Roses members Axl, Slash and Duff McKagan reunited in 2016.

Download Festival takes place at on the hallowed turf of Donington Park from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th June 2018. Weekend tickets to Download Festival are on sale from Planet Rock Tickets right now.
