Watch Greta Van Fleet perform three songs at Red Rocks Amphitheater
The concert took place last year
Fresh-faced Frankenmuth rockers Greta Van Fleet have shared a live video featuring three songs from their set at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado.
Filmed almost exactly a year ago on 24th September 2019, the quartet played the iconic open-air venue as part of their March of The Peaceful Army tour, which also included a series of UK shows last November.
Greta Van Fleet played a 12-song set on the night, and the band have now shared footage on the first three songs ‘The Cold Wind’, ‘Safari Song’ and ‘Black Smoke Rising’ on YouTube.
The video has been posted under the title Greta Van Fleet Live at the Red Rocks Amphitheater: Act 1, hinting at further video uploads from the band.

Following their two 2017 EPs ‘Black Smoke Rising’ and ‘From the Fires’, Greta Van Fleet released their debut album ‘Anthem of the Peaceful Army’ in October 2018.
In January 2019, bassist Sam Kiszka revealed Greta Van Fleet had started work on their second album and they were planning to release it later that year. The record is yet to surface.
Last year, singer Josh Kiszka called for an end to Greta Van Fleet’s Led Zeppelin comparisons saying it’s time to “move on.”
“Obviously we hear the similarity (to Led Zeppelin),” Kiszka told Rolling Stone. “That’s one of the influences of ours. But at this point it’s like, ‘Okay, we’ve acknowledged that. Let’s move on.'”
Robert Plant himself joked to Channel Ten in Australia in April 2018: “There’s a band in Detroit called Greta Van Fleet, they are Led Zeppelin I. Beautiful little singer, I hate him!”
“He borrowed (his voice) from somebody I know very well, but what are you going to do? At least he’s got a bit of style, because he’s said he based his whole style off Aerosmith,” Plant added while rolling his eyes.”
