Greta Van Fleet announce debut album ‘Anthem of The Peaceful Army’
Fast-ascending rockers Greta Van Fleet have unveiled details of their eagerly-awaited debut album ‘Anthem of The Peaceful Army’.
The Michigan quartet took to their social channels this afternoon to share a beguiling 45-second video along with the caption ‘As the new day unfolds…’
With a camera panning around the decidedly seventies prog rock-esque sci-fi artwork, a narrator says: “The power of music transcends sound itself. Those of us who cannot hear it, feel it. Like the dancing of a heartbeat is a reminder that humans love. We know that first in darkness, like a great drum in a mother's chest. The anthem of a peaceful army. To save all the world."
As instrumentals from a song kick in, the ‘Anthem of The Peaceful Army’ album title, artwork and track-listing are revealed. The record is released on Friday 19th October and is available to pre-order right now.
