Green Day To Release New Album Trilogy
The first of three brand new albums is released in September
The band have revealed that they will release a trio of albums over the space of four months.
"¡Uno!," "¡Dos!" and "¡Tré!" are the follow-ups to 2009's 21st Century Breakdown and the first instalment will be released in the US on 25 September, with the other two released on 13 November and 15 January.
"We are at the most prolific and creative time in our lives. Â This is the best music we've ever written, and the songs just keep coming," says the band in a statement. "Instead of making one album, we are making a three album trilogy. Â Every song has the power and energy that represents Green Day on all emotional levels. Â We just can't help ourselves... We are going epic as f***!"
