The US punk rockers played a handful of new songs at a surprise show in San Francisco, including a track called 'Carpe Diem' which you can watch below.
Green Day have been holed up in the studio recording a follow-up to 2009's 21st Century Breakdown but they've played a couple of surprise shows in recent weeks, road testing the new songs.
