Green Day Debut 15 New Songs In California
The band play surprise show for fans
Fansite Greendayauthority.com reports that the band played a show at Tiki Bar 1700 Placentia in Costa Mesa last week. At the show they played a set of almost entirely new and unreleased material, covers and just a couple of hits.
As well as a cover of Ozzy Osbourne's 'Goodbye To Romance' and a version of their side project Foxboro Hot Tubs' 'It's Fuck Time' the band played fifteen brand new songs.Â
The band are in the midst of recording a follow up to 2009's 21st Century Breakdown, so expect some of the new tracks to appear on that when it emerges in 2012.
