Goo Goo Dolls join RockWalk
Band will be inducted next month
The induction ceremony will take place in Hollywood next month on Tuesday May 7th, with the group's long-time producer Rob Cavallo to deliver a welcome address, which will highlight the band's history and achievements.
"We are thrilled to have been selected for induction to Guitar Center's RockWalk," said frontman John Rzeznik . "It's an honor to be here with all these musical legends."
The Goo Goo Dolls will join a host of Rock Royalty on the RockWalk, with previous inductees including Van Halen, Aerosmith, Carlos Santana, Stevie wonder, AC/DC and Queen, among others.
"Not only did the Goo Goo Dolls birth some of the most memorable pop-rock hits of the 90s, but, with a new album on the way, they continually contribute to the music community and deliver to their fans," said Dave Weiderman , Chairman of Guitar Center's RockWalk. "These qualities are amongst the many elements that have made this trio a favorite for over a decade and make them a welcomed addition to Guitar Center's RockWalk."
