Taking in arenas and theatres
Last updated 1st Jul 2021
French heavy metal behemoths Gojira have announced their biggest UK & Ireland headline shows to date for March 2022.
Supporting their critically lauded seventh studio album ‘Fortitude’, which dented the UK Top 10 in early May, Gojira will kick off their UK trek with a monumental show on Friday 4th March at London Alexandra Palace.
The quartet then continue their trek at arenas and theatres in Nottingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin and Manchester before culminating at Cardiff Motorpoint Arena on Monday 12th March.
Gojira will be joined by special guests Alien Weaponry and Employed To Serve at all shows, and the UK & Ireland dates serve as the culmination of an epic two-leg European tour throughout January, February and March next year.
Gojira UK tour tickets:
Tickets to Gojira’s headline UK tour dates (except Belfast) go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 10am on Monday 5th July 2021.
Recorded and produced by Joe Duplantier at Silver Cord Studio - Gojira’s Ridgewood, New York headquarters – and mixed by Andy Wallace (Nirvana, Rage Against The Machine), ‘Fortitude’ is Gojira’s first album in five years and the follow-up to 2016’s Grammy nominated tour-de-force ‘Magma.’
Gojira last performed in the UK in June 2019 when they played Glastonbury and a trio of their own headline shows.
