GNR Members Go Back To School
Two members of the band jam with students in Witney
A couple of the current incarnation of Guns N Roses turned up at a music school in Oxford yesterday to jam with students.
The BBC reports that guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and drummer Frank Ferrer took time out from their rehearsals to head to the Witchwood School of Rock in Witney where they played with the students and gave out advice on performing.
"I'm actually more nervous going and talking to the kids than I am playing in front of 20,000 people, because you don't see them,” Ferrer told the BBC. "Here you're going to see every little kid's face.”
GNR play at the O2 Arena tonight for the first date of their brief UK tour.
They have another London show tomorrow night before they head to Birmingham on Sunday for a show at the LG Arena and then up to Manchester to play the MEN Arena on Monday night.
Most of the tickets for the shows are already sold, but there are a couple left for tomorrow night’s London show at a few left for Manchester on Monday.
