GNR Make Europe Date

Guns N Roses have scheduled the first European show on their Chinese Democracy World Tour.

The band have been confirmed as a headliner as this year’s Sweden Rock Festival in Solvesborg on the weekend of 9-12 June.

It’s the first sign that GNR will be expanding their tour further than the Americas after finishing up with a Canadian tour a couple of weeks ago and then scheduling a set of South American dates in May.

Sweden Rock is putting together a typically outstanding line-up, with an already confirmed Gary Moore, Nazareth, Magnum, Y&T, Slayer, Bachman-Turner and W.A.S.P.

Meanwhile, in other GNR news the band played a secret show in New York.

The band unexpectedly turned up at the John Varvatos store in the city (the store occupies the site left vacant by the legendary CBGBs club) to play a 17 song set for partygoers at a Fashion Week show.
