The final list of inductees has been revealed

Those Guns N Roses reunion hopes can start in earnest now that the final list of 2012 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductees has been announced.

Guns N Roses, the Small Faces / Faces, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Donovan, Laura Nyro, Beastie Boys and Freddie King are the musicians that will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in Cleveland next April.

They will be joined by songwriter Don Kirshner, engineer Cosimo Matassa and producers Tom Dowd and Glyn Johns.

Whether or not Guns N Roses reunite at the ceremony next year remains to be seen, but both Axl Rose and Slash have they are both potentially open to the idea in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, it looks more likely that the Faces will be properly represented at the ceremony.

Keyboardist Ian MacLagan says that he hopes Rod Stewart will play with the rest of the band, "If he comes up on stage that would be full circle, perfect."

MacLagan did, however, suggest that he wasn't too happy that the Small Faces and the Faces had been lumped together as one band, "but I'll take it, if that's how we get it," he says. "It would've been nice to have separate mentions, but it may never have happened that way, so I'll take it this way. I'm excited, especially for (late members) Ronnie (Lane) and Steve (Marriott)."

The 27th Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Inductions take place in Cleveland on 14 April 2012.
