All Things Must Pass is 40 next month

George Harrison’s magnificent All Things That Pass is to be reissued as a 40th anniversary edition on vinyl in the US next month and as a remastered edition via download worldwide.

If you live in the US then on Friday 26 November you’ll be able to pick up a triple vinyl 40th anniversary edition of the classic 1970 album from independent retailers across the country.

The album has been remastered at Abbey Road Studios from the original analogue tapes and will be released in a limited edition, numbered 180-gram vinyl set in its original 3LP configuration, with faithfully replicated original monochromic album art, poster and lift-top box packaging.

"George Harrison’s All Things Must Pass was a milestone release in 1970 and it ranks with record store owners as one of the best albums ever released,” said Michael Kurtz, co-founder of Record Store Day. "The organizers of Record Store Day could not be more thrilled to support the restored reissue 40 years later - almost to the exact day - of this majestic album.”
