Geezer Butler: Definitely No Sabbath Reunion
Bassist says that the band will not be getting back together
Butler was moved to make the announcement after a few months of continued speculation, which was fueled in no small part by Ozzy's statement a couple of weeks ago that "the problem that we have is that if we do an album and it's anything less than where we left off, it's gonna be a big anti-climax." This claim turned into "new album and tour" rumours and now Geezer has decided to put an end to all of the talk.
"I would like to make it clear, because of mounting speculation and rumours, that there will be definitely NO reunion of all four original members of Black Sabbath, whether to record an album or to tour."
