Gaslight Anthem frontman Brian Fallon is a busy man at the moment. He recently released a new album with side project The Horrible Crowes, but he has revealed to Billboard that Gaslight are back in the studio and are well under way with their third album.

"We're making demos and our goal is 25 of them, and we've got 10. The songs that are fast, they're a lot faster. It's definitely pretty personal and pretty aggressive right now. I'm really happy with it so far."

As for the Horrible Crowes album, which he recorded with Gaslight guitar tech Ian Perkins, Fallon revealed that the album gave him a chance to spread his wings.

"The Gaslight Anthem is very streamlined," Fallon says. "We don't usually use organs and strings and things like that. We wanted to separate what we were doing in Gaslight Anthem to something new and something that we could experiment with."
