Reunited duo give away the first new song from their forthcoming album
Bachman & Turner have released a brand new song as a free download.
The duo have released brand new song ‘Rock n' Roll is the Only Way Out’ as a download on their official website. The song is a preview of the band’s forthcoming brand new album, which is slated for release on 7 September.
The new song is actually the track that inspired the duo to start working together again after 20 years after Bachman asked Turner to guest on what he thought was going to be a new solo album.
"It was perfect for his gritty, refrigerator-sized voice," says Randy Bachman of the song. "It turned out so incredible that I asked if he wanted to sing on a few more, send me some of his original material and from that it morphed into a Bachman & Turner project."

Bachman & Turner will be playing tracks from the as yet unnamed brand new album at the Relentless Garage in London on 7 June, while they also appear at the High Voltage Festival on 25 July.
