Frampton Guitar Reborn
Watch the moment that the guitarist is reunited with his long lost Les Paul
Here's a brief recap for you: Peter Frampton thought that his favourite guitar - a black custom Les Paul that was used on the Comes Alive album - had been destroyed in a plane crash in 1980. Last year the guitar somehow turned up in the possession of a guitarist on the Dutch Caribbean island of Curaçao. Customs officials bought the guitar off the guitarist and then gave it back to Frampton.
The guitar has now been fully restored by Gibson and Frampton has released a video that not only shows the moment that he gets it back but also the restoration process.
