Foo Fighters Parody Horror Classic 'Carrie'
Watch their incredible Ice Bucket Challenge here
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few weeks, you’ll be well aware of the latest social media craze that’s sweeping the planet – The Ice Bucket Challenge.
Much as we’ve come to expect from Dave Grohl and co., doing their bit to raise money for neurodegenerative illness ALS Foo Fighters have upped the ante with possibly the greatest challenge yet.
It sees them parody the final scene of Brian de Palma’s 1976 horror classic ‘Carrie’ where the title character gets pigs blood poured on her after winning the prom queen title.
Dave plays Carrie in the spoof clip and drummer Taylor playing the jealous Prom King with Pat Smear and Nate Mendel laughing lasciviously from the sidelines.
Fittingly, Grohl goes on to nominate Carrie star John Travolta and the book’s author Stephen King.
