Foo Fighters are continuing to tease their fans by sharing a second tantalising snippet of new music.

Last Wednesday (12th April), Foo Fighters posted a 12-second video on their social media accounts containing the intriguing instrumental section of a previously unheard song.

Alongside the trademark Foos music, the video featured a white background that slowly revealed the words, "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" before the words faded out again.

Foo Fighters have now shared a second morsel of music today (18th April) featuring a longer 25-second audio clip, and more wording on screen.

Musically, the mysterious song features rapid fire drums alongside a crescendo of riffs that seem to be building to an epic climax. At the end of the video, the phrase “This is happening now” slowly comes into view.

It’s very possible that the words "Are you thinking what I'm thinking? Are you feeling what I'm feeling? This is happening now” could be the lyrics to the covert track. Intriguing stuff!

Foo Fighters perform their first headline show since Taylor Hawkins’ death last year at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in New Hampshire on Wednesday 24th May.

Fans are still speculating who will play drums for Foo Fighters at their live shows, with The Darkness’ Rufus Taylor and Josh Freese among the names in the rumour mill.

Sadly there aren’t any UK shows as part of Foo Fighters’ touring itinerary. The band’s headline performances at Germany’s Rock am Ring on Friday 2nd June and Rock im Park on Sunday 4th June are their only European shows of 2023.

With tens of thousands of fans singing 'My Hero' in unison, Dr. Johan rightfully lapped up the adulation before crowd-surfing to the front.
