Merthyr Tydfil purveyors of epic rock anthems, Florence Black, will headline the third Steelhouse Away Day in Cardiff in April 2022.
Following the emphatic success of the inaugural Bernie Marsden headlined Steelhouse Away Day in September 2019, the rescheduled Steelhouse Away Day II with Those Damn Crows is set to take place on 5th February next year.
Just over two months later on Friday 8th April 2022, Steelhouse Away Day III will take place once again at The Tramshed Shed, Cardiff with Florence Black headlining.
The special guests are yet to be announced, and fast-ascending Welsh rockers Valhalla Awaits will open proceedings.

Florence Black’s appearance at Steelhouse Away Day III follows the release of their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Weight of the World’ in September, which boasts the Planet Rock playlisted anthem ‘Sun & Moon.’
Florence Black frontman, Tristan Thomas, says: ‘The Tramshed has been on the bucket list for a long time! To be headlining a show there in 2022 is an unbelievable feeling. It’s our biggest headline show to date and we are so buzzed to be doing it with our brothers, Valhalla Awaits too!’
Steelhouse organisers, Mikey Evans and Matt Rhead, add: ‘It’s with great excitement and no small amount of pride to announce Florence Black as Steelhouse Away Day III headliners.
“Their incredible set at Steelhouse Festival 2021 was a coming-of-age moment. They’ve quite rightly claimed main-stage billing at Planet Rockstock, have a special guest spot at Winter’s End Festival and this is the next logical step in their rise through the ranks…Like fellow Welshmen, Those Damn Crows before them, the momentum is undeniable.”
