Fish Announces Rescheduled UK Tour Dates
The Moveable Feast tour will go ahead later in the year.
Following the announcement on Monday that Fish's May UK tour dates were cancelled, the former Marillion singer has now announced reschuled dates for all venues, including an additional Reading show.
In his statement on the initial cancellation, which was due to band member Robin Boult falling ill with chickenpox, Fish said:
"Everything has happened so fast it’s impossible to bring in and rehearse a replacement to cover the shows and I am left with no other option but to cancel the entire tour.
"The virus has hit Robin badly and he is exhausted. Playing any shows in his condition would have been physically dangerous and recovery on a tour bus impossible. I seriously doubt if he could have played through a soundcheck never mind a full gig and any shows we could have done would have been a shadow of our capabilities and totally unrepresentative of what we have built up a solid reputation for in the last year. This decision is the only one that can be made for all concerned but especially for Robin who we are all feeling for just now."
The new dates for the tour are as follows:
29/09/2014
30/09/2014
01/10/2014
06/12/2014
07/12/2014

Along with the announcement of the new Dates, Fish said:
"I just received this from the tour promoters who have done a fantastic job putting this together so quickly. It looks like I better get the Santa Claus outfit out then!
"Thanks for all your patience and understanding on this and once again I apologise for all the inconvenience and hope that you all can make the new dates."
Tickets already purchased are valid for the rescheduled shows.
