First White Stripes Shows Given Vinyl Release
Subscribers to Jack White's Vault series can get some rare live shows
Rolling Stone reports that the two vinyls are available through Third Man Records' "Vault" subscription series.Â
The package includes a tote bag along with two vinyl records: Live at the Gold Dollar 7", which features the White Stripes' very first live performance at a Detroit open mic night on July 14th, 1997, and Live at the Gold Dollar, a 12" featuring the band's first full show on August 14th, 1997.
The records contain early recordings of "Jimmy the Exploder,""St. James Infirmary Blues," "Lafayette Blues," "Screwdriver" and more.
