Federal Charm to split up following farewell show

Federal Charm have announced they are splitting up following eight years and three studio albums together.

Announcing the news on Facebook, the Stockport blues rockers explained to fans “it’s the right time to part and nurture other creative ventures” and said “we are very proud of what we have achieved.”

Federal Charm will officially call it a day following a swansong show at Manchester Rebellion on Friday 6th September. Tickets are on sale from Planet Rock Tickets now.

The band’s full statement reads:

“To our fans, family and friends.

“After 8 unbelievable years 3 albums, and countless tours across the UK & Europe, regrettably we must share the news that we will be performing our last ever show at Manchester's Rebellion September 6th.

“We are very proud of what we have achieved. We value the hard work and sacrifice it takes to establish a group in today's climate and with that we wish everyone out there the best of luck. We feel it’s the right time to part and nurture other creative ventures.

“We are honoured to have had such a life changing experience, and above all huge amounts of fun.

“We'd like to thank every single person who has joined on this incredible journey. Without you it was impossible. What an amazing time we've had.

“We'll see you in Manchester its going to be one hell of a show.

Federal Charm’s most recent album ‘Passenger’ was released in September 2018, which coincided with a ‘Planet Rock presents’ co-headline tour with The Bad Flowers (now renamed Wolf Jaw). They also played Winter’s End 2019 in March.
