Fans Invited to Huw Lloyd Langton Funeral
Hawkwind pay tribute to former guitarist.
The members of Hawkwind have extended an open invitation to fans for the funeral of former guitarist Huw Lloyd Langton.Â
Langton died last week after a battle with cancer. He was 61. The funeral will take place in Dorset on Thursday, 20 December. There has been an overwhelming amount of requests made to the band to attend Huw's funeral and the band has asked that an email must be sent beforehand to confirm intentions of attending. Huw Lloyd Langton joined Hawkwind in 1970 and appeared on their self-titled first album he returned in 1979 for another nine years and nine more albums. He also had his own band and guested on many other recordings.
