Faith No More To Call It Quits For Good

Band reveal their last ever live date will be in Chile in December

Faith No More will wrap up their reunion tour in Chile and then split for good.

NME reports that keyboardist Roddy Bottum issued a message on his Twitter page saying "It's true, we're giving Santiago what they've asked for. We're wrapping up the FNM reunited tour in Santiago, Chile on December 5!!!!"

And to confirm that the band will come to a final end and that we would not see the rumoured new studio album, he spoke to Chile's Terra.cl website, saying "In my opinion recording an album was a great idea. The balance was good because we know each other well. But things were complicated – it was very strange to return after a decade.

"When we decided to get together, it was to reconnect and relive something we had in common. It was very important to us – but doing these shows was the only thing we were going to do."

FNM played a handful of reunion shows in the UK in 2009, headlining Download and playing sets at Leeds and Reading along with a headline show in London.
