Exclusive: Ramblin' Man Fair announces first acts
Whitesnake, Europe, Ginger Wildheart and more added...
Following on from a hugely successful inaugural year in 2015, Ramblin’ Man Fair is returning in 2016 with a stellar lineup.
The first Main Stage headline act to be announced is Whitesnake, who will be playing 'The Greatest Hits' set, drawing on material from the iconic "Slide It In", "1987" and "Slip Of The Tongue".
Also on the Main Stage, will be the legendary Europe, coming back with their critically acclaimed album 'War of Kings'. Joey Tempest of Europe said: "Always an enormous pleasure sharing the stage with the great man himself, David Coverdale and his entourage! We've been following Ramblin’ Man Fair with great interest. It's a festival that makes sense musically and is gaining respect amongst both artists and audience."
The third Main Stage announcement is Ginger Wildheart, who'll be bringing his 25 years of rock material to Mote Park come 23rd July 2016.
As well as the Main Stage, big names have also been announced for the Prog Stage: headliners Procol Harum will be joined by Uriah Heep, Hawkwind and Life Signs.
On the Blues Stage, Planet Rock favourites Walter Trout and King King will be rocking the crowd.Â
And last, but by no means least, the hilarious Hayseed Dixie will be headlining the Country Stage with their lightning bluegrass rock! We can't wait!
