In this exclusive interview clip, Åkerfeldt and Wilson discuss why their new project ISN'T a supergroup and about the writing of their brand new album.

STORM CORROSION is the long-discussed collaboration between two of prog's most innovative and multi-talented artists; Porcupine Tree's Steven Wilson and Mikael Åkerfeldt of Opeth. The pair have been friends since the early '00s, when Wilson co-produced Opeth's revered 'Blackwater Park' album.

Their self titled debut album is released on 7 May and its style can best be described as orchestral, ambient and epic.
