Exclusive: Collateral premiere 'Merry Go Round' video
Fast-ascending rockers Collateral have premiered the video to their new single ‘Merry Go Round’ exclusively on Planet Rock.

The fourth taster of Collateral’s self-titled debut album, ‘Collateral’, which lands on Friday 21st February, ‘Merry Go Round’ is an instantly infectious homage to life as a rock star.
“I love this song,” enthuses singer Angelo Tristan. “It was one of those where in the first few seconds of writing it you get an instant shot of adrenalin. I knew it was going to be something filled with fun and attitude!
“It was an easy song to write due to the fact that it was basically a diary of our day to day lives at that point, I think that's why it's an easy song to perform.”
‘Merry Go Round’ was remixed by esteemed producer Romesh Dodangoda (Motörhead, Bring Me The Horizon, Funeral For A Friend) at Long Wave Recording Studio in Cardiff.
The accompanying ‘Merry Go Round’ video sees the quartet belt out the track in an atmospherically back-lit room. Watch it first here:
Currently on rotation on Planet Rock’s airwaves, ‘Merry Go Round’ is the follow-up to previous Collateral singles ‘Mr Big Shot’, ‘Lullaby’ and ‘Midnight Queen’.
After an intensely busy year of touring in 2019, which saw them embark on a co-headline trek with Piston and play Planet Rockstock last December, Collateral have a series of shows lined-up for 2020.
In the UK, they play with Jared James Nichols in February and March, Phil X and the Drills in March and H.E.A.T. in May. They also have European gigs with Skid Row in April and May.
