Last updated 24th Mar 2020
Guitar maverick Eric Gales has rescheduled his summer 2020 UK tour for February 2021.
The critically-lauded axeman was due to kick off his trek at Bristol Fleece on 25th May and conclude at London O2 Academy Islington on Wednesday 3rd June, however it has understandably been postponed due to the coronavirus crisis.
All dates have now been rescheduled for February 2021 with additional concerts planned for Brighton Concorde and Dover Booking Hall at the start of the trek. Ticket to these two gigs go on sale at 10am on Tuesday 31st March.
The phenomenally talented Danny Bryant is the special guest on the 2021 trek.
Featuring collaborations with B. Slade, Doyle Bramhall II and Beth Hart, Eric Gales’ latest studio album ‘The Bookends’ was released via Provogue/Mascot Label Group at the start of 2019.
Gales says of making the album: “As a guitar player it’s been established that I can play a little bit, just a little bites.
“But for this album he not only wanted to push himself as a musician, but also as a vocalist, to build up his vocal discography. What spearheaded that was the artists that I have on the record.”
Heralded by many guitarists as their favourite guitarist, Eric Gales counts Carlos Santana, Dave Navarro (Jane’s Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers), Mark Tremonti (Alter Bridge), Joe Bonamassa, Tony Rombola (Godsmack) and Tosin Abasi (Animals as Leaders) as among his fans.
