Eric Clapton's Royal Albert Hall gig to be screened in cinemas
The guitarist's 'Slowhand at 70' show is coming to big screens.
The performance, which celebrates Clapton's 70th birthday and 50th year in the music industry, was recorded at the iconic London venue back in May of this year.
On a stage with a particularly special place in the legend's heart, and on which he has performed over 200 times, Clapton played a career-spanning set list; from Robert Johnson's Mississippi blues through to Cream, Derek & the Dominos and fan favourites from his solo career.
The release will be brought to cinema screens by Arts Alliance this autumn. Produced by Examination Productions and Eagle Rock, the big screen event will additionally include an exclusive featurette, containing interviews with musicians Paul Carrack, Andy Fairweather Lowe and Chris Stainton, as well as journalists Hugh Fielder and Paul Sexton.
